Cierra Brannies is a young singer/songwriter from the Dallas area who performs folk songs, songs in the traditional Irish language of Gaelic, and classic oldies music.She has performed with the North Texas School of Irish Music for four years in their music and choral ensembles, and in the last two years began performing solo. She was also the assistant instructor for their Festival Youth Chorus that performed with Celtic Woman 4 times, Celtic Thunder, Irish Tenors, Teada, and many others. She sings and plays guitair, piano, and fiddle. She has performed in The Celt Pub, Trinity Hall, and a host of solo performances with the North Texas Gaelic Youth Chorus including Donegal Castle - Ireland, and Moya Brenan of Clannad at Leo's Tavern in Ireland. In the fall of 2015 she was featured in the North Texas School of Irish Music CD titled Reflections in the chorus and solo pieces. In spring of 2016 she was featured in a music video for Anuna singer, Karen Ballew produced by Emmy award winner, Brad Ballew.
